  • 1 small capsicum (cubed)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 cup chicken stock or water
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour (mixed in 2 tbsp water for slurry)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

In a bowl, add chicken cubes, egg, cornflour, maida, ginger garlic paste, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the chicken is fully coated.

Step 2: Fry the Chicken

Heat oil in a pan. Fry the chicken pieces on medium flame until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on kitchen paper.

Step 3: Prepare the Sauce

In a separate pan, heat oil. Add chopped garlic and ginger. Sauté for a few seconds until fragrant.

Add spring onions and capsicum. Cook for 1–2 minutes (do not overcook, vegetables should stay slightly crunchy).

Step 4: Add Sauces

Now add soy sauce, chili sauce, ketchup, and vinegar. Mix well.
