Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Chicken:
  • 3 cups (bighoye hue) Basmati Rice:
  • 1 cup Yogurt (Dahi):
  • 3 darmiyani (slice ki hui) Onions: 
  • 3 adad (chop kiye hue) Tomatoes
  • : 2 tbsp Ginger-Garlic
  •  3-4 tbsp (ya hasb-e-zaroorat)   Biryani Masala
  • Spices: Namak, lal mirch powder, haldi, aur garam masala
  • Whole Spices (Khara Masala): Zeera, bari elaichi, darcheeni, tez patta
  • Garnish: Hara dhaniya, podina, aur hari mirchein
  • ¾ cup Oil/Ghee

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Chicken Marination

    Sab se pehle chicken mein dahi, adrak-lehsan ka paste, biryani masala, aur thoda sa namak mila kar 30 minute ke liye rakh dein. Is se masale chicken ke andar tak chale jayenge.
  2. Step 2: Masala Taiyar Karein

    Ek bari degchi mein tel garam karein aur pyaz ko golden brown kar lein. Ab is mein khara masala shamil karein aur phir marinate ki hui chicken daal kar achi tarah bhoonein. Jab chicken ka rang tabdeel ho jaye, to tamatar daal kar dhak dein taake chicken gal jaye.

  3. 3: Rice Boil Karein

    Alag bartan mein pani ubalen aur is mein namak, zeera aur thoda sa oil shamil karein. Chawal ko 80% tak boil kar lein aur phir pani nikal dein.
  4. Step Step 4: Layering (Teh lagana)

    Ab chicken wale masala ke uper boil kiye hue chawal ki teh lagayein
    . Uper se hara dhaniya, podina, hari mirchein aur thoda sa zarda rang (food color) chirak dein.
