📝 Ingredients

🟡 Suji Halwa

  • 1 cup suji (semolina)
  • 1 cup cheeni
  • 3 cups pani
  • ½ cup ghee
  • 4–5 elaichi
  • 2 tbsp kishmish (optional)
  • 2 tbsp badam/pista (optional)

Puri

  • 2 cups maida
  • ½ tsp namak
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Pani (zarurat ke mutabiq)
  • Oil for frying

Method


Step 1: Halwa Banayein

  1. Pan me ghee garam karein.
  2. Suji daal kar medium flame par golden hone tak bhunein (5–7 minutes).
  3. Alag pan me pani aur cheeni garam karein jab tak cheeni dissolve ho jaye.
  4. Ab garam cheeni wala pani dheere dheere suji me daalein (careful – steam niklegi).
  5. Elaichi aur dry fruits add karein.
  6. 3–4 minutes tak cook karein jab tak halwa thicken ho jaye.

Tip: Constant stir karein taake lumps na banen.


Step 2: Puri Banayein

  1. Maida, namak aur oil mix karein.
  2. Thora thora pani daal kar tight dough bana lein.
  3. 15 minutes cover karke rest dein.
  4. Small balls bana kar choti puri bel lein.
  5. Garam oil me medium flame par fry karein.
  6. Puri ko halka press karein taake woh phool jaye.
  7. Golden hone par nikaal lein.
