Easy Kitchen Life Chicken Cheese Pasta

Ingredients:


  • 2 cups pasta (penne or macaroni)
  • 1 cup boiled chicken (shredded or cubes)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (grated)
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp oil

Step 1: Boil the Pasta

Boil pasta in salted water until soft. Drain and keep aside.

Step 2: Prepare Chicken

Heat oil in a pan. Add boiled chicken, sprinkle salt and pepper, and sauté for 2–3 minutes. Set aside.

Step 3: Make Cheese Sauce

  • In the same pan, add butter.
  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Add flour and mix well for 1 minute.
  • Cook until sauce thickens.
  • Add cheddar cheese and mix until melted.

Step 4: Mix Everything

Add pasta + chicken into the cheese sauce.
Sprinkle mozzarella and chili flakes on top.
Cover for 2 minutes until cheese melts.


  • Add capsicum or sweet corn for extra flavor.
  • Want spicy? Add green chilies or peri peri powder.
  • For baked version: Put in baking dish and bake 10 minutes.
